But while our hearts are rooted in tradition, our look is fresh, clean, and modern. We believe there’s beauty in blending old and new—honouring the heritage of our grandmothers while making room at the table for the next generation. Our rusks are handmade in small batches, using time-honoured recipes with a few creative twists here and there. Each one is a reminder that the best things in life take time.
N O G was born out of that memory—of simpler times, of hands that worked hard and hearts that loved deeply. The name itself, “NOG,” is a nod to the Afrikaans expression meaning “again” or “more,” because once you’ve tasted proper homemade beskuit, you always want nog een.
